Trip to Fátima
Fátima is a city in central Portugal that houses the Sanctuary of Fatima, a place of Catholic pilgrimage. The Chapel of the Apparitions marks the place where the Virgin Mary allegedly appeared in 1917.
The first apparition took place in 1917, in the place of Cova da Iria, where the Sanctuary is currently located. The greatest manifestations of the devotees took place on May 13 (the Procession of the Candles, on the 12th at night, and the Procession of Goodbye, on the 13th, closing the celebrations) and on October 13. However, between these two dates, every day 13 are devotional.
