You have a great choice of beaches in Galé including the small Praia do Manuel Lourenço just to the east of Galé. Here you will find a quiet beach with some amazing outcrops of rock that you can admire from the sands or from the comfort of the restaurants in the area.

The main Galé beaches are Praia da Galé Oeste and Praia da Galé Leste – the west and east Galé beaches. Basically this beach stretches all the way from Armação de Pêra in the west and continues along for miles up towards Albufeira. See how far you can walk along the beach or enjoy water sports, beach games or simply lie back in the sunshine and enjoy the Algarve weather.

For a different way to explore the beaches why not saddle up for a horseback ride along the beach or alternatively one of the great things to do in Galé is to sit back and enjoy a ride in a carriage pulled by a horse.
